价格

Prices are high for the portion sizes; for instance, Mapo Tofu (58 yuan for half portion) could be found for 15 yuan elsewhere for the same quantity. Double-cooked pork (88 yuan for half portion) is also expensive, though Water-boiled beef (68 yuan) is considered reasonable for a hotel.

排队时间

Food was served quickly and efficiently after ordering.

菜品

Dishes were inconsistent. The Mapo Tofu was notably tender but too numbing. The Double-cooked Pork had good meat quality but overcooked vegetables and disproportionately large slices. Braised dishes like the pig tail were tough and had an unpleasant raw smell. The Water-boiled Beef was well-prepared and had a good portion. However, high-end soups like Boiled Cabbage and Chicken Flower were disappointing, lacking richness and flavor, and appeared to be made with insufficient or cheap ingredients. The overall quality of dishes did not meet expectations for a five-star hotel.

服务

The service was excellent, with staff being quiet, gentle, and efficient when serving, and even offering complimentary fruit.

注意事项

  • Prices are high for the portion sizes on some dishes.

  • Some traditional Sichuan dishes (like duck and braised platter) are not authentic or well-prepared, some have unpleasant taste/texture.

  • High-end dishes (like soups) are disappointing due to perceived cost-cutting and lack of richness/authenticity.

  • Be prepared for a very strong numbing flavor (too much huajiao) in Mapo Tofu.

  • Double-cooked pork slices are too large, making them hard to eat politely.

  • The squid (Yu Tou) in the 'Guoba xian youhua' dish is hard to chew.
